History: Isaac Lahey

Personality:

Vengeful - Covering Isaac's worst personality trait, is his deep need to punish those who have done him, or the people he cares about, wrong. He charges in to punish these transgressors, no matter what happens. Be it getting beaten by a powerful Alpha, or nearly murdering Lydia, he has no qualms in seeking revenge, even if it almost always backfires on him. For example - he carried a grudge against Ethan and Aiden, the Alpha twins, even after they switched sides and joined Scott's pack. When his mind was taken over by the Nogitsune fly, still enraged over his friend Boyd's death at the hands of the twins, he electrocutes them and then attempts to burn them alive.

Callous - Isaac can come off as quite insensitive and uncaring, to those who do not know him. He is good at distancing himself from people, showing little to no concern about people. A lot of that he learned from his father, whose cruel and unfeeling attitude towards Isaac led Isaac to become disaffected in turn, as a protection from outside hurts and betrayals. Case in point, when Scott and Stiles needed tickets to an underground rave, to stop the canima -- they went through every legal source they could. Isaac simply found two students with tickets, slammed them against their lockers, and stole the tickets, which he promptly gave to Stiles and Scott with a pointed, "How do you losers even survive?"

Reckless - When he is angry, or upset, Isaac tends to forget to think about the consequences of his actions. More than once he has run headlong into a situation without thinking of a way out of it. This usually leads him to be overwhelmed, usually physically, by the pack's enemies. Despite having himself thrown around more than once, he still reacts first instead of thinking. when the twin Alphas attacked him and then showed up at Beacon Hill High to stalk out Scott, they purposefully egged him on. To the point that he went chasing after them during a cross country run. It turned out to be a trap, and if Scott hadn't shown up, Isaac might have been killed then and there.

Loyal - There is no one more loyal than Isaac Lahey. Once you have earned his trust and admiration, he will not abandon you. In fact, more than once, he has returned to help Scott, Derek, and Allison, despite the personal danger. He will do anything for the people he is loyal to as well - from protecting Scott's mother, to protecting Derek from the Alpha Pack, to being Allison's anchor.

Brave - For as impulsive as Isaac can be, he never lacks courage. He has proven time and time again that he is willing to go first line against the monsters they encounter. Even when the odds are stacked against him, he fights to protect the pack and the innocent bystanders of Beacon Hills.

Strength - Someone does not live through what Isaac has gone through, without developing a spine of steel. He survived his brother's death in Afghanistan, his mother's death in a car accident, his father's abuse and Derek's neglect as his alpha. Time and time again, the forces stack against him, and every single time Isaac endures. While he is not without his scars and phobias, he pushes past them and comes out the other side.


Powers and Abilities: Isaac is a werewolf - so without the change he has advanced speed, strength, senses and durability. He also can stand extreme cold and heat, but not without feeling miserable. When he shifts, he also develops razor sharp claws and fangs, that he can use to slash and rend his enemies. He was an excellent runner before his change, and he is an even better runner now. He's a fairly intelligent fellow with the ability to simplify complicated ideas down to something easier, and he is also endlessly practical. He plays the guitar, sings, and speaks French fluently.
