There came a time in every relationship where you had to stop madly making out with someone and groping them and cuddling them and you had to say something along the lines of, "Hey, you know we haven't actually gone on a date yet, right?"

Isaac really wasn't one to get paranoid about this kind of shit -- but he did have his hang-ups and one of them was being the 'hidden shame' of anyone. He wanted to go out, he wanted to wear nice clothes and he wanted to hold Stiles's hand while they walked down the street and ... he didn't know. Maybe buy Stiles a single rose or something.

He wanted some romance before they both got laid. He wanted to show Stiles that he actually cared-cared and wasn't just a 'right next to you booty call'. Maybe he wanted to prove that he wasn't the booty call either.

So during a rather heavy make-out sessions against their fridge, Isaac leaned back and said those exact words, along with, "So ... you know. We should go out. On a date. With each other."

The fact that he's pretty sure that the hostess was someone who went to school with them and that's half the reason why there was an initial stinkeye when they walked in together. Though one of the great things about being the Sheriff's kid and starting a business in the town too is that pretty much everyone was predisposed to be supportive of his efforts.

So he just gave her a continued shit eating grin as Isaac took his hand and he just radiated happiness everywhere. Their table was awesome too, great location and he totally chose to sit next to Isaac rather than across from him. Because well, he just didn't want to stop holding hands.

Isaac gave Stiles one of his quick, bright smiles as the young man sat next to him, and no, he did not let go of his hand either. In fact, he leaned over to give the other young man a nuzzle, before he smirked and leaned back once more.

"Just to give you a taste of dessert for later."
